In My Own Little Room

In this little room of mine,

Secrets unheard of,

Heartbreaks uncovered,

These walls know too much,

Tears shed,

Never to be reassured,

Is it possible to drive a man insane at such a pace,

Walls crumble,

Light shines,

The warmth exposed to my skin,

Is this what it is like to feel,

to love? To nurture?

I feel amazing, yet unchanged.

Is it possible that this existed,

outside a room so dark and gloomy?

Fear replaces my amazement,

I am off to explore this new world.
